Summit Nurse Training Batch 1

Summit Healthcare, an education company specialized in training healthcare professionals in Indonesia, conducted a Cath lab training for hospital nurses working in the Cath labs at SMU Healthcare’s partner hospitals across the country.

This first batch of students included 11 nurses from 5 hospitals as well as SMU Healthcare’s own clinical staff. The various topics covered included anatomy, nursing care as well as Cath lab basic training for nurses following BCLS and ACLS standards from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Human resources is a critical aspect of healthcare services and a serious concern in the Indonesian health industry. SMU Healthcare takes an active role in capacity building in Indonesia and committed to improve competencies among care givers that will ultimately improve quality of care provided to patients.
