First PPM at Semen Padang Hospital

A Pacemaker is a device that is implemented to help control the heart rate for patients with an arrhythmia condition, or an abnormal heart rhythm condition. Pacemaker’s installation is divided into a temporary pacemaker (TPM), for a pacemaker that is implemented for less than 30 days, and Permanent Pace Maker (PPM), for permanent implementation.

On the 7 of June 2017, Dr. Hauda El Rasyid, Sp.JP (K) successfully performed the first Permanent Pacemaker mounting action on patients with a heart condition at Semen Padang Hospital.

SMU healthcare and its team would like to congratulate Dr. Hauda for this achievement and are proud to be part of the operational success of these procedures.
